Configure Simultaneous Update Requests

Navigate to Settings

Go to MainWP > Settings.

Open Advanced Options

Locate the Advanced Settings section.

Find the setting

Find Maximum simultaneous install/update requests.

Set your preference

Enter your desired number of concurrent update operations.

Click Save Settings.

When to Adjust This Setting

Decrease the value if:

  • Updates frequently fail or timeout
  • Your Dashboard site becomes unresponsive during updates
  • Your hosting provider limits concurrent connections
  • Child sites appear offline during bulk updates

Increase the value if:

  • You have a powerful server with available resources
  • You manage many sites and need faster bulk updates
  • Updates complete quickly without issues
  • Your hosting environment has no connection limits
